Isabel Basurto’s journey as an advocate for domestic workers is deeply personal. She started working as a nanny at the age of 12, handling not just childcare but also cleaning and other household chores from 6 am to 6 pm. When Isabel discovered Lazos, an organization fighting for workers' rights, she felt a spark of empowerment, realizing she wasn't alone and could make a difference.
